This time at Siemens' flagship event, Smart Infra-ConneX, over 200 stakeholders from various sectors convene to discuss green growth infrastructure for Indonesia. Speakers from government, finance, and Siemens experts explore how smart technology can facilitate Indonesia's transition to sustainable infrastructure. Siemens Industry Hubs showcase smart solutions for six key sectors, emphasizing efficiency and sustainability.

Dr. Lamine Jendoubi, President Director and CEO of PT Siemens Indonesia, highlights the pivotal role of technology and digitalization in smart infrastructure transition, fostering efficiency and resilience. Siemens' digital business platform, Siemens Xcelerator, launched in June 2022, aims to accelerate digital transformation across industries through interoperable software and IoT-enabled hardware.

Indonesia aims to implement strategic projects leveraging new energy development and smart technology to achieve Net Zero Emission targets by 2060. Siemens pledges to support these initiatives, enhancing local manufacturing and human resources while collaborating with Indonesian universities to advance technical education and prepare future engineers.

Rahmat Kaimuddin, Deputy Minister for Infrastructure and Transportation Coordination, emphasizes the importance of partnerships in promoting green development. Siemens commits to deepening its collaboration with local partners and universities like the University of Indonesia, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), and Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) to foster sustainable infrastructure and workforce development.

Pada Selasa (15/8), Siemens Indonesia menyelenggarakan Siemens Indonesia Executive Summit, sebuah acara yang mengumpulkan lebih dari 100 pemangku kepentingan utama dari regulator, perusahaan publik, dan swasta. Acara tersebut menampilkan pembicara terkemuka serta panel diskusi dengan narasumber dari berbagai instansi internasional maupun Indonesia. Dengan tema "Mempercepat Transformasi Digital untuk Keberlanjutan", fokus acara adalah upaya untuk mencapai keberlanjutan melalui transformasi digital.

Di acara tersebut, Siemens Technology Marketplace dipamerkan dengan menampilkan solusi teknologi pintar yang mendukung transformasi dalam enam fokus industri, yaitu ketenagalistrikan, perkotaan, pusat data, makanan & minuman, pulp & kertas, dan pertambangan. Dr. Lamine Jendoubi, Presiden Direktur dan CEO PT Siemens Indonesia, menyatakan bahwa digitalisasi akan menjadi fokus pengembangan infrastruktur di Indonesia di masa depan, terutama dalam transisi energi dan industri. Siemens bertujuan untuk menjadikan transformasi digital lebih mudah, cepat, dan berskala besar, untuk meningkatkan ketangguhan dan keberlanjutan bisnis serta masyarakat.

Tahun sebelumnya, Siemens mengumumkan inisiatif program kemitraan dengan Universitas, yang melibatkan kolaborasi dengan tiga universitas terkemuka di Indonesia di bidang studi teknik. Sebagai kelanjutan dari inisiatif tersebut, Siemens menandatangani nota kesepakatan (MoA) dengan Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). Dr. Lamine Jendoubi menjelaskan bahwa nota kesepakatan tersebut terkait dengan Pengembangan Program Digital Twin Ekosistem (D2TEP), yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan tenaga kerja masa depan yang memiliki kompetensi teknis dan siap kerja sesuai dengan kebutuhan bisnis dan masyarakat.

Sebagai bagian dari perayaan ulang tahun ke-50, Siemens mengadakan serangkaian kegiatan mulai dari kompetisi olahraga hingga berbagai perlombaan bagi karyawan, yang diselenggarakan bekerja sama dengan serikat pekerja Siemens.
